Dr. Lariah Edwards is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health (MSPH) and a postdoctoral research scientist at Environmental Defense Fund. She is also an alumna of the Agents of Change in Environmental Justice Fellowship. As part of this work, she collaborates with WE ACT on its campaign that seeks to educate consumers about the dangers of toxic beauty products. Dr. Edwards also draws on her experience in the areas of chemical policy and regulatory applications and science communication as she feels addressing exposure disparities requires a multidisciplinary approach.
