Abrania Marrero is a PhD candidate in Population Health Sciences at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, specializing in Nutritional Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Her research investigates the ramifications of global environmental change on human and planetary health in small island food systems. In Puerto Rico, partnerships with Bucarabόn Foundation Project and Alliance for Agriculture seek to leverage community expertise to bolster food security, human flourishing, and self-determination. Abrania is dedicated to rigorous, interdisciplinary pedagogy and scholarship, serving as a Graduate Fellow at the Abigail Adams Institute and a Teaching Fellow inquantitative methods, global health, and the nutritional sciences.
