Jamaji Nwanaji-Enwerem, MD, PhD, MPP

Jamaji C. Nwanaji-Enwerem is a Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at Emory University School of Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Environmental Health at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. He earned his M.D. at Harvard Medical School and his M.P.P. degree at Harvard Kennedy School. He earned his Ph.D. in the Harvard University Biological Sciences in Public Health program with a concentration in Environmental Health. Jamaji’s research leverages molecular health biomarkers to improve our understanding of how environmental toxins impact human aging. He hopes to utilize his education, research, and efforts in science, health, and environmental public policy as tools to alleviate health-related disparities that affect the world’s most vulnerable populations.
