Emily Weaver is a Staff Research Scientist at Columbia University in the department of Environmental Health Sciences. She is a first generation graduate and holds a master’s degree from the Columbia Climate School, where she was a Dimenstein-Spielvogel fellow. Emily’s research focuses on community-based approaches to understanding how environmental injustice impacts human health outcomes, with an emphasis on reproductive health. She draws on her own upbringing in a historic frontline community and interdisciplinary academic background in her research.
